5.22.09 today was the big day. donuts for breakfast. cupcakes delivered to school by gena and samuel to share with the class. ian spent the afternoon packing up the 'goodie bags' for his friends. then it was off to Sun Mountain Fun Center for the BIG party. there were about 17 kids and 12 adults. we played minature golf. had pizza. then presents and then cake. THEN it was video games and skiiball and air hockey for another hour. by this time, everyone was ready to just sleep on the floor at the bowling alley but we decided to go home and sleep in our beds.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN. WE LOVE YOU LITTLE MAN.
i also stopped at Clear Lake. wow. also jaw dropping.

i took these ones while i was using drugs. i guess the experience came through on the image itself. radical!!!

my name is mike caston and it has been 4 months since my last blog post. life has just been rolling on by. today was warm (60) and was a BIG treat. i went out by myself all day exploring some lakes and waterfalls. it was so nice to push away from the desk and just breathe.
here are a couple pics of the kids in the backyard from this evening. yes, our landscaping is pine needles for sure. all the rich people here have em.

tonight jeff and i visited our uncle steve (moms brother), his wife Jennifer and Jackie (our cousin). it was a great time catching up and chowing on some delicious Chili's grub.

well, i guess the deer are pretty darn hungry. we have a small 'herd' that has moved in and just hang out waiting for some grub. i think we went out each day the horns were here and gave them some granola bars (thank heavens for Costco) and apples.

needless to say, samuel dug the horn clan quite a bit (when he wasn't busy trying to hit the girls).

papa tim was busy fabricating a chopper for ian out of plumbing pipe and fittings. so appropriate. a plumbers hog...

we celebrated mckayla's birthday here in Bend. it was a ball. cake, presents, the whole 9 yards. happy birthday young lady.

we went up to the snow with the horn clan and did some insane sledding.

ian got too much stuff. all things he dug. the little dude had nothing but fun today.

samuel had a great day. got lots of stuff he digs.

this morning we read the Christmas story. the boys loved it. samuel needed some blueberries to keep him quiet.

it was gorgeous this morning. here are a few 'outside' shots...
