i woke up today and it was 19F outside. there were icicles hanging off the back fence.

the worst thing about it all is i needed to wear pants for the first time in 4 full months. the last time i wore pants was the end of April in California.

in my ideal world i would be in trunks year round [Hawaii or Costa Rica anyone?]

the good news is this– snow is a couple months away. time to get back on the slopes!!!

it was high time we removed the training wheels from Ians bike. i think it was more my fault then anyones to get out there and practice with the little man. Ian picked it up right away. by the second day he was cruising all alone.

we did have one spill though. this actually isn't it. ian wanted to stage this one and have his friends see how bad he crashed.

Samuels hair was all over the place. It was long over due for a trim (he is already 11 months after all). We broke out the hair trimmers and figured it was going to be a Jacob v. God bout on our hands for this one. We were pleasantly surprised. Samuel sat still and loved it.
